The sculptures

Three resin sculptures were produced from the digital models, bringing the characters of Ciudad de Pájaro into physical form. Photographed in collaboration with Cecilia Violeta, the sculptures became the starting point for a new visual exploration.

Across mediums

Moving from drawing to digital sculpture, from digital sculpture to physical object, and back to digital image through photography, Æther explores how a work transforms across mediums. It questions what remains of an artwork as its material form changes, and whether its essence can persist through each transformation.
