The Funeral of My Non-Virtual Self
3D Animation · Character Performance
The first animation featuring the characters of Ciudad de Pájaro, this work explores the relationship between physical and virtual identity through a symbolic funeral. The protagonist embodies a version of myself shaped by digital existence, while the characters inhabit a world in which the boundary between the online self and the physical body begins to dissolve.

The funeral
Rather than celebrating this transformation, the animation reflects on its emotional cost. The funeral becomes a metaphor for the gradual disappearance of the non-virtual self, questioning what is lost as digital presence becomes increasingly inseparable from lived experience.
